Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

The 2025 Festival

On June 13th, 2025, Mola di Bari celebrated Saint Anthony of Padua at the end of a long devotional journey: the Tredicina starting May 31st (Rosary at 6:30 PM and Mass at 7:00 PM, animated by the Friars Minor) and the solemn Triduum from June 10th-12th, with days dedicated to couples, the sick, and the blessing of children.

On the day of the feast, holy masses were held in the morning (7:15 AM, 8:30 AM, the solemn mass at 9:45 AM, and 11:00 AM), while at 6:00 AM, the pyrotechnic "diana" by the Raffaele Manzari company opened the day. In the late afternoon, the procession of the Saint's statue traveled through the city streets, followed by barefoot faithful with candles. In the evening, illuminations by the Paciello company of Monopoli, fireworks, and a brass band concert by the City of Mola di Bari concluded the festivities. The organization was managed by the Confraternity of Saint Francis of Assisi, in collaboration with the Mother Parish.
