Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua (Laroma District)

The 2025 edition of the festivities in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua in the Laroma district of Casoli (Chieti) was held on August 21 and 22, confirming the late-summer appointment dear to the district community.

The two days followed the established pattern of the Casoli festival: Mass and a procession accompanied by the Casoli Band, fireworks, the traditional giro delle conocchie with a parade of offerings in Abruzzese costumes and allegorical floats depicting rural crafts, and musical evenings in the square adjacent to the church of Saint Anthony. A moment of devotion and conviviality that, as every year, drew residents and visitors to the Aventino Valley hinterland in Abruzzo.
