Edition 2025 — Feast of Saint Anthony

In 2025, the Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua in Gravina di Catania spanned from the novena at the end of May to the octave on June 20th, culminating on June 12th and 13th with processions, solemn celebrations, and community moments.

The 2025 edition

The 2025 festivities in honor of Saint Anthony of Padua, Patron Saint of Gravina di Catania, unfolded along a broad spiritual path. The novena ("tredicina") began on May 31st, with daily thematic celebrations dedicated to charity, reconciliation, vocations, families, and children.

On June 12th, the evening procession of the Relic took place along with the awards ceremony for the exhibitions. On June 13th, the day of the Saint, the "Svelata" at 7:00 AM opened the day, followed by the 11:00 AM Mass presided over by Bishop Mons. Renna and the procession of the statue at 7:30 PM, featuring the evocative descent of the Angel and the act of civic entrustment. On Sunday, June 15th, the "S. Antonio di Padova" cycling trophy was held, while the octave concluded the festivities on Sunday, June 20th.
