Feast of Saint Anthony of Padua

The 2025 edition followed the established pattern of the Antonian feast of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto: thirteen days of tredicina at the Shrine of Saint Anthony of Padua of the Friars Minor, with devotees — many of whom were children — dressed in the votive habit in imitation of the Franciscan robe. The feast concluded on June 13th with the liturgical solemnity and the procession of the statue through the streets of the neighborhood, decorated with lights, flowers, and flags. There was no shortage of popular festive moments — games, shows, and the traditional 'panino e salsiccia' evening — which every year gather the entire community around the Saint.
