Saint Agatha 2025 in Civitaluparella

On February 5, 2025, the village of Civitaluparella, in the province of Chieti, renewed its devotion to Saint Agatha with its annual festivities. The Municipality released both the festival program and the safety plan through its institutional website, confirming the regular conduct of the event.

The celebrations were concentrated between the parish church and Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, with the solemn Mass, the procession of the Saint's statue along the alleys of the historic center, and the blessing of the Saint Agatha breads, the ritual breads prepared with Solina wheat according to the ancient tradition of inland Abruzzo. A day of faith and community that confirmed the importance of this observance for the town.
