Feast of Saint Agatha 2025

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Saint Agatha in Catania confirmed the extraordinary strength of the Agatine tradition. From the preparatory triduum at the end of January to the conclusion on February 12th, the city gathered around its Patron Saint.

On February 3rd, the procession of the wax offering took place; on February 4th, before dawn, the evocative Dawn Mass and the exit of the fercolo along the sites of the martyrdom; on February 5th, the solemn Pontifical Mass in the Cathedral and the great evening procession along Via Etnea, accompanied by the imposing candelore and concluded by the traditional fireworks. A manifestation that, even in 2025, confirmed Saint Agatha as one of the most attended religious events in the world.
