Feast of Our Lady of the Zerbion

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Zerbion took place as tradition dictates on July 29th at the summit of Monte Zerbion (2,722 m), above Saint-Vincent, in the province of Aosta. Faithful and hikers ascended for the mass at the summit at 10 AM, celebrated at the foot of the large seven-meter-high votive statue erected by mothers during World War I, and for the second mass at Pian Tavela at 12 PM. Afterwards, the distribution of polenta and salami transformed the religious occasion into a convivial moment, amidst panoramas embracing the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa, Mont Blanc, and Gran Paradiso. An authentic festival that tells of the deep bond between the alpine communities of the Aosta Valley, faith, and the mountains.
