Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the White
In 2025, the Feast of Our Lady of the White once again illuminated Portovenere on August 17th, with thousands of candlelights along the village, an evening procession, and illuminated boats at sea, renewing a centuries-old cult in the heart of the Gulf of Poets.
In 2025, the Feast of Our Lady of the White transformed Portovenere on the night of August 17th: over two thousand candlelights, torches, and lanterns outlined the tower houses, the castle, and the church of San Pietro, while decorated boats gathered at sea and the procession wound through the ancient village. The festival, linked to the miracle of 1399, confirmed its unique charm among the villages of the Gulf of Poets.
