Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the Visitation
In 2025, Varese Ligure also celebrated its patron saint, Our Lady of the Visitation, on the first Sunday of July, with the solemn procession of the 'Cristi' of the confraternities and the ark of the Virgin through the historic center of Borgo Rotondo.
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Visitation renewed the patronal tradition of the upper Val di Vara in Varese Ligure. The community gathered around the solemn procession which, winding through the historic center of Borgo Rotondo, saw the 'Cristi' of the confraternities and the ark of the Virgin carried on shoulders. A celebration of strong identity value, which every year brings the town together in the name of faith and Ligurian traditions.
