Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the Snows of Miserin

On August 5, 2025, the Feast of Our Lady of the Snows at the Sanctuary of Miserin took place. As per tradition, the bell of the San Nicola parish church rang at 3 a.m., the torchlight procession departed at 4 a.m., and Mass was celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at the sanctuary at 2,580 meters, with pilgrims also arriving from Cogne, Val Soana, and Fénis.

On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the centuries-old pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Miserin, above Champorcher, was renewed. At 3 a.m., the 'great' bell of the San Nicola parish church woke the faithful; at 4 a.m., pilgrims set off with lit torches towards the alpine sanctuary at an altitude of 2,580 meters.

Upon arrival, at 8:30 a.m., Mass was celebrated in the chapel, followed by other services in the morning. In the afternoon, the auction of items offered by the faithful took place, with polenta distribution, while the return procession reached the parish church around 6:30 p.m. In 2025 as well, numerous pilgrims ascended from the nearby valleys — Cogne, Val Soana, and Fénis — to participate in one of the most cherished traditions of the Aosta Valley.
