The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows took place from September 14 to 21 in the Capo district of Palermo, organized by the Confraternity founded in 1885. A week of celebrations featuring a seven-day prayer cycle, Via Matris Dolorosae, drums, flag-wavers, and illuminations, culminating on Sunday, September 21, with the solemn procession of the Addolorata statue through the streets of the neighborhood, accompanied by the 'V. Bellini' marching band of Carini.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Seven Sorrows was celebrated from September 14 to 21 in the Capo district of Palermo, Sicily, with the usual program curated by the Venerable Confraternity founded in 1885.

The festivities kicked off with the settenario of preaching and prayer at the Church of the Santi Quaranta Martiri alla Guilla, followed by the Via Matris Dolorosae on Friday evening, an ancient devotion linked to the sorrows of the Virgin. On Saturday, the neighborhood came alive with drums, musicians, and flag-wavers who paraded through the alleys of the Capo amidst illuminations and performances.

The highlight was the solemn procession on Sunday, September 21: the Addolorata statue, wearing the famous black velvet mantle, traveled through the streets of the neighborhood accompanied by the 'V. Bellini' marching band of Carini, with great participation from the faithful and the residents of the district.
