Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary

During the 2025 Jubilee Year, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary in San Severo was celebrated from October 4th to 19th, organized by the Archconfraternity of Maria SS. del Rosario. On October 7th, the liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the Supplication was recited; in the following days, the solemn Triduum was preached. On October 17th, the Eucharistic concelebration was presided over by Monsignor Giuseppe Mengoli, Bishop of San Severo.

The solemn procession on October 19th crossed the entire ring of the Giro Esterno in the historic center, starting and ending at the Church of the Santissima Trinità. The statue, dressed according to ancient custom, was accompanied by the statues of Saint Dominic of Guzmán and Saint Rose of Lima, and by the Banda Rossa Wind Orchestra conducted by Maestro Francesco Buono. At the exit and entry of the statue, the sparkling choreography with the shower of balloons and confetti was admired, along with the traditional San Severo firework batteries.

October 7 — Liturgical feast of Our Lady of the Rosary: recitation of the Supplication and Eucharistic concelebration; followed by the solemn preparatory Triduum.

October 17 — Solemn Eucharistic concelebration presided over by Monsignor Giuseppe Mengoli, Bishop of San Severo.

October 19 (Sunday) — Solemn outdoor procession along the Giro Esterno of the historic center, with the statue of Our Lady of the Rosary and the statues of Saint Dominic of Guzmán and Saint Rose of Lima, accompanied by the Banda Rossa and firework batteries.
