Edition 2025 — Our Lady of the Guard
On August 29, 2025, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Guard celebrated the feast of the patron saint of Liguria with the usual novena, the evening pilgrimage on August 28th, and the solemnity on the 29th, featuring Masses, processions, and thousands of faithful who ascended Monte Figogna thanks to special shuttle buses.
The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of the Guard renewed the ancient devotion that links the people of Liguria to the sanctuary on Monte Figogna, above Ceranesi. The celebrations, marked by the novena, the Archbishop's pilgrimage, and the solemn Mass with procession on August 29th, attracted pilgrims from all over the Metropolitan City of Genoa, with enhanced dedicated public transport.
