Edition 2025 — Our Lady of Sorrows

In 2025, the community of Norcia also celebrated Our Lady of Sorrows on the last Sunday of September, in the spirit of an ancient tradition dating back to 1735. The solemn Mass and the procession through the historic center, accompanied by illuminations, music, and fireworks, renewed one of the city's most heartfelt devotions, deeply linked to the memory of the earthquakes and rebirth.

In 2025, Norcia renewed its devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows on the last Sunday of September. The feast, rooted in a tradition dating back to 1735, featured a solemn Mass and a procession of the sacred image through the historic center.

Around the religious event, the usual recreational activities took place, with the city illuminated by lights, moments of music, and fireworks. It is a celebration that the Norcia community experiences with intensity, especially after the earthquakes that have marked the area.
