Edition 2025 — Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows

On Sunday, September 21, 2025, the third Sunday of the month, Lascari celebrated its patron saint, Our Lady of Sorrows. The day revolved around the solemn Eucharistic celebration and the traditional procession of the statue of the Addolorata through the historic center, followed with emotion by numerous faithful amidst prayers and songs, in a sign of deep popular devotion to the 'Bedda Matri'.

2025 Edition

The Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows took place in Lascari on Sunday, September 21, 2025, in keeping with the tradition that sets the patronal feast on the third Sunday of September. The community gathered around its patron saint, the 'Bedda Matri', in one of the oldest and most heartfelt religious observances in the town.

After the Eucharistic celebration, the statue of the Addolorata was carried in procession along the streets and stairways of the historic center of Lascari (Province of Palermo), accompanied by a large number of faithful. Songs, prayers, and intense popular participation marked the procession, confirming the village's strong bond with its Marian tradition.
