Cerda Summer Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Cerda Summer Festival was held from August 8th to 23rd in Cerda, in the Province of Palermo, under the artistic direction of Francesco Cappadonia and with the collaboration of local associations. The program alternated between theatrical performances, concerts, food and wine tastings, and cabaret shows, with the participation of the Palermo-born actor Tony Sperandeo.

Among the most anticipated events was the White Night, featuring the musical performance of the group "Siciliano Sono" between Via Roma and Piazza La Mantia, street artists, musicians, Latin-American dancing, and tastings of typical Sicilian products. The central moment remained the patronal feast of Maria SS. Addolorata, celebrated on August 16th with the solemn evening procession of the patron saint's statue and the final fireworks display. As noted by the artistic direction, the Cerda Summer Festival is "a celebration for all the people of Cerda", a sign of a history and culture to be passed on to new generations.
