Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the hamlet of Soccorso (Gualtieri Sicaminò, ME) reaffirmed the bond between faith and popular celebration. On the evening of August 20, 2025, the village square transformed into an open-air theater for the concert by Massimo Di Cataldo, part of his celebratory "30 years together" tour: the artist performed hits from his career such as Se adesso te ne vai and Come il sole, alternating songs with stories and thanks to the community, in front of an audience of all ages.

On August 22nd, the religious heart of the feast took place: solemn Holy Masses, the procession of the venerated statue of the Madonna carried on shoulders through the village streets, the blessing of the children in Piazza Duomo, and the midnight fireworks display. An edition that brought together residents and visitors in what was described as "an authentic collective embrace between faith and music".
