Feast of Mary Help of Christians (Patron Saint of Rovereto)

The 2025 edition

The Feast of Mary Help of Christians, the main patron saint of Rovereto, was celebrated on August 5, 2025, renewing the Vow made by the city in 1703. In the preceding days, on July 31st and August 1st, the Church of San Marco hosted the preparatory triduum with the recitation of the Rosary and First Vespers, followed by a concert from the Musica Cittadina Riccardo Zandonai.

On the day of the feast, the 10:00 AM Eucharistic concelebration in San Marco was presided over by the Archbishop of Trento, Monsignor Lauro Tisi. In the afternoon, the events included the Rosary (5:30 PM), Vespers, and the procession at 6:00 PM through the streets of the historic center, with the reading of the Vow and the offering of the votive candle by the Mayor. The day concluded at 8:30 PM with the community dinner on Via della Terra, in the spirit of brotherhood that characterizes the patronal feast of the Municipality of Rovereto.
