The 2025 Festone: 500 years since the translation

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Maria SS. della Vittoria in Scurcola Marsicana was particularly solemn, celebrating the 500th anniversary of the translation of the wooden statue of the Madonna. The celebrations took place from August 16 to 31, with a committee of fifty citizens of all ages engaged in an intense program of cultural conferences, religious services, and recreational events.

On August 24, a study conference at the ruins of the ancient abbey and a solemn procession marked the religious heart of the festival. On the musical front, on August 29, the "Sogno 90" evening lit up Piazza Risorgimento with the hits of the 90s, while on August 30, the singer Nina Zilli ignited Piazza della Venere with a highly anticipated free concert. The festival closed on August 31 with the Miry Band, also in Piazza Risorgimento.
