Feast of Maria SS. della Catena

In 2025, the Feast of Maria SS. della Catena once again drew faithful and visitors to Scillato, in the Madonie Park, for the day of August 20th. The morning opened with the alborata and the most anticipated moment, the mayor handing over the town's keys to the Patron Saint, followed by the Solemn Mass. In the afternoon, the statue of the Madonna, adorned with flowers and ex-votos, was carried on shoulders in a procession along the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the banners of neighboring towns. The feast closed in the evening with a pyrotechnic display at the urban park.
