The 2025 Edition
In 2025, the festivities in honor of Maria SS. del Bosco in Buscemi took place from August 27 to September 7, with the central day on Sunday, August 31. The solemn triduum at the sanctuary started the religious celebrations, while the eve offered the traditional "Giro di Gala" and fireworks in Piazza Roma.
The Sunday of the feast featured the characteristic morning procession, with the emotional climb and entry of the fercolo into the Mother Church amidst the throwing of thousands of colored paper strips. In the evening, the second procession through the main streets of the town concluded with the concert by Angelo Famao and a pyrotechnic show. The octave, the following Sunday, marked the return of the statue to the sanctuary outside the village.
