2025 Edition
On Sunday, August 17, 2025, Assoro renewed its most heartfelt tradition. In the days leading up to the event, the convent cloister hosted an exhibition of ancient and modern banners, while sacred art displays and guided tours were held inside the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
On the day of the festival, the Nudi di Angili confraternity carried the statue of the Madonna barefoot to Piazza Francesco Crispi, where the banner-bearers paid homage to the Virgin by twirling the large standards. The procession concluded with the return of the statue to the church amidst fireworks, before the entire community of the Municipality of Assoro.
