Feast of Maria SS. Annunziata

The 2025 Feast of Maria SS. Annunziata in Raccuja (ME) confirmed the strong bond between the Nebrodi village and its patron saint. Alongside religious rites, marked by the settina of preparation and the solemn procession of the statue through the town streets on September 21st, the Festival Committee offered a rich lineup of shows in Piazza del Popolo.

The most anticipated event was the free concert by the duo Zero Assoluto (Thomas De Gasperi and Matteo Maffucci), which took place on the evening of September 20, 2025, at 10:00 PM in Piazza del Popolo, on the eve of the patronal feast, before a packed square. The 2025 program also saw the participation of actor Tony Sperandeo among the protagonists of the evenings, crowning a festival that attracts residents and returning emigrants every year.

Saturday, September 20, 2025 — Piazza del Popolo

• 10:00 PM — Free concert by Zero Assoluto (Thomas De Gasperi and Matteo Maffucci), eve of the patronal feast

Sunday, September 21, 2025 — Patronal Day

• Eucharistic celebrations and solemn mass
• Lowering of the statue and solemn procession of Maria SS. Annunziata through the town streets, with a blessing towards the countryside
• Evening show in Piazza del Popolo with the participation of Tony Sperandeo
• Fireworks display to conclude the festivities

In the preceding weeks, the traditional settina of preparation took place, with celebrations and moments of prayer.
