Edition 2025 — Feast of Bread

In 2025, the Feast of Bread in Gildone celebrated Saint Anthony of Padua with the procession of blessed bread, the monacelli in robes, the flower carpet, and the great participation of the community.

The 2025 edition of the Feast of Bread in Gildone (CB) confirmed the great participation of the community in the celebrations of Saint Anthony of Padua. As per tradition, the artistic shapes of blessed bread, decorated with lilies, were carried in procession by the women of the village; the monacelli followed the novena and procession wearing the saint's robe, while the flower carpet adorned streets and squares. After Mass, the blessed bread was distributed to the faithful, in a festival that combines devotion, folk art, and conviviality.
