Feast in Honor of Saint Roch

Saint Roch 2025 in Noicattaro

The 2025 edition of the Feast in Honor of Saint Roch in Noicattaro (BA) followed the traditional devotional calendar. On August 16th, the saint's liturgical day, the arrival of the co-patron was greeted by fireworks and a grand concert by the Noicattaro town band in the evening.

The solemn civil festivities took place on September 6, 7, and 8, 2025, with the papier-mâché statue displayed on the large altar set up in Piazza Umberto I and the silver statue carried in procession through the town streets among a vast crowd of the faithful. Artistic illuminations, brass band music, and pyrotechnic shows animated the evenings, confirming Saint Roch as the second most important festival for the Noicattaro community after that of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.
