Feast in Honor of Saint Anthony of Padua

On June 13, 2025, the community of Villa Scontrone, a village in the municipality of Scontrone (AQ), gathered for the feast of Saint Anthony of Padua. As per tradition, the day included a religious service, a procession of the Saint's statue along the village streets, and brass band performances, with the participation of the faithful and local families. The feast confirms the small Abruzzo town's strong bond with its roots of faith and the devotional calendar that marks the year in Scontrone.
