Feast in Honor of Maria SS. del Buoncammino

The 2025 edition of the festivities in honor of the co-patron of Altamura, in the Province of Bari, took place from September 12 to 14. The sacred image had been transferred to the Cathedral in mid-August, following the traditional equestrian parade on the Sunday after the Assumption. The evenings of September 12 and 13 saw Piazza Matteotti transform into a stage for two concerts, while the Via Martin Luther King area hosted the funfair. On Sunday, September 14, at 8:00 PM, the solemn procession departed from Piazza Duomo, winding through the historic center and concluding with fireworks late at night. In the following days, the statue returned to the Sanctuary with the customary penitential pilgrimage.

Mid-August — The Equestrian Parade

Transfer of the sacred image from the suburban Sanctuary to the Cathedral, with a flag auction along Via Bari and the folkloric equestrian parade.
