Edition 2025 — Favole di Luce
The edition of the sea
The ninth edition of Favole di Luce kicked off on Saturday, November 9, 2024, and concluded on January 12, 2025. The chosen theme was the sea, a tribute to the history and maritime identity of Gaeta: light installations and video projections built a story populated by mermaids, waves, and fantastic creatures along the streets of the historic center.
News and events
The inaugural lighting was accompanied by the new water, dance, and sound shows of the San Francesco Fountain, active every Saturday, Sunday, and holiday from 6:30 PM. The program included shows at Villa Traniello every Sunday from November 17 to December 29, the Santa Claus parade on December 7, and, on December 31, the traditional Sciusci of Gaeta, an ancient popular custom that accompanies the transition to the new year. Markets, artistic lanterns, and family entertainment completed the season.
