The event kicked off the 2025 Campofiorito Summer, full of shows throughout the month of August.

The 28th edition

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM, Campofiorito celebrated the 28th Fava Bean Festival along Corso Gramsci and Via Regina Elena. The typical quadare cooked the dried fava beans from the latest harvest, served with an ammogghiu of oil, salt, garlic, and pepper, accompanied by local wine and regional products, amidst displays recreating the ancient pagghiara huts.

Music and entertainment

The evening featured performances by the Tataratà folk group from Casteltermini on Via Regina Elena, the Trio Melody for music and dancing, and a cooking show by Salvatore Terruso, "Il Pastaio Matto" (The Crazy Pasta Maker). About one hundred volunteers brought the festival to life, launching the Campofiorito Summer with a rich calendar of events throughout August.
