Edition 2025 — Fat Thursday in Coredo

In 2025, the village of Coredo in Predaia once again celebrated Fat Thursday with the historic distribution of potato gnocchi in Piazza Santa Croce. An event that every year draws residents and families of the Val di Non together around the flavors of the Trentino Carnival, with ragù gnocchi, Grostoi, music, and entertainment, confirming a tradition passed down for generations in the municipality of Predaia.

Fat Thursday 2025 in Coredo di Predaia renewed a custom deeply rooted in the Val di Non community: the preparation and distribution of large quantities of potato gnocchi in Piazza Santa Croce, cooked for the entire population.

Organized by the Pro Loco of Coredo with the collaboration of local entities, the festival offered gnocchi with ragù, traditional Grostoi, and moments of entertainment and music, thus opening the Carnival festivities in the municipality of Predaia, in Trentino-Alto Adige.
