Edition 2025 — Farmer's Race
The twelfth edition of the Farmer's Race was held in Petroio from June 20th to 22nd, 2025. Three days of celebration in the village of Trequanda, featuring visits to the Terracotta Museum, food stalls serving pici and snails, live music, and the final challenge between the four village districts for the palio, held on Sunday at the sports field.
In June 2025, Petroio, a village in Trequanda (SI), hosted the twelfth edition of the Farmer's Race. The event, spread over three days, combined rural tradition, gastronomy, and culture: Saturday featured visits to the Terracotta Museum and the district palio, while Sunday saw the main race of the Farmer's Race at the sports field. Throughout the days, food and wine stalls offered handmade pici and snails, iconic dishes of the Sienese Valdichiana local cuisine.
