Edition 2025 — Farmer's Festival
The 44th edition of the Farmer's Festival took place from August 2 to 5, 2025, in Piazza Ignazio Silone in Montemarcone di Atessa, with a refreshed format. Four evenings were dedicated to the rural culture of the Val di Sangro, featuring awards for historic agricultural businesses, dialect theater, a traditional food festival, live music, and entertainment for children.
The 44th Farmer's Festival
In 2025, the Farmer's Festival of Montemarcone di Atessa (CH) reached the milestone of its 44th edition, scheduled from August 2 to 5 in Piazza Ignazio Silone, with a renewed format.
- Saturday, August 2: ceremony for the presentation of plaques recognizing historic agricultural businesses active in Atessa for over fifty years, organized by the municipal administration.
- Sunday, August 3: dialect theater performance by the "Artiana" company from Atri with the comedy "Cummite e Mazziate" by Giancarlo Verdone.
- Monday, August 4: farmers' food festival with typical local dishes, music by the Roby Santini Tour, and the "Il ragazzo di campagna show".
- Tuesday, August 5: creative workshops and face painting with "Sorrisi in Piazza", inflatables for children, a dance evening with Sandro & Meoni, and, in closing, the prize draw.
The event was organized by the Pro Loco Val di Sangro with the patronage of the Municipality of Atessa, confirming its status as one of the most cherished summer events in the valley.
