Edition 2025 — FarFestival
FarFestival 2025: the first edition
FarFestival debuted from May 8th to 11th, 2025, in the Nazzano, Tevere-Farfa Regional Nature Reserve, just a few kilometers from Rome. Four days of free admission, with scientific direction by marine biologist Andrea Bonifazi and the participation of nationally renowned guests such as Marco Priori, Rosario Balestrieri, and Claudia Facchinetti.
Each day had a central theme: May 8th focused on snakes and birdwatching; May 9th on alien species, survival in nature, and animal tracks; May 10th on Earth defense, migratory birds, and sustainability in space; May 11th on sustainable fashion, birdwatching, and sea turtles.
Alongside the talks, there were information and food stands, educational workshops, beekeeping and craft demonstrations, as well as outdoor activities: boat trips on the Tiber, canoe excursions, and archery. The Regional Park of Castelli Romani also joined the initiative.
