FEFF 27, a ticket to contemporary Asia

The 27th edition of the Far East Film Festival brought 75 films to Udine from April 24 to May 2, 2025, showcasing the Asia of today, between the Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine and Cinema Visionario. The Golden Mulberry award, decided by the audience, was given to Her Story by Shao Yihui, a dramedy that became a feminist phenomenon in China.

The Golden Mulberry Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the Taiwanese actress Sylvia Chang, a leading figure in Asian cinema. In 2025, the festival once again animated the historic center of Udine with the Asian Zone and over a hundred collateral events including meetings, exhibitions, street food, and cosplay.
