Edition 2025 — Fanoje di San Giuseppe

On March 18, 2025, Monte Sant'Angelo renewed the ritual of the Fanoje di San Giuseppe in the historic center: bonfires lit in the main squares, a gastronomic journey with traditional flavors, the traveling Pacchianella, a meeting with the regional and national fire network, and a grand finale with folk music by Folk e pastorizia and I Trillanti.

The 2025 edition of the Fanoje di San Giuseppe took place on March 18th in the heart of the historic center of Monte Sant'Angelo, renewing the ancient rite that marks the transition from the cold season to the mild one. Bonfires were lit in the main points of the village: at 7:00 PM in Piazza de Galganis, at 7:15 PM in Piazza San Francesco and Piazza Mario di Leo, and at 7:30 PM in Largo Dauno.

The evening combined a gastronomic route featuring traditional Gargano flavors, the traveling performance of La Pacchianella, and, at 8:00 PM in Largo Dauno, a meeting with the regional and national fire network. The grand finale, at 8:30 PM in Largo Dauno, featured folk music by Folk e pastorizia and I Trillanti. Each neighborhood had prepared its own stack of wood, logs, and old objects to burn, according to tradition.
