Fanny Mendelssohn International Music Festival — Cascina and its Romanesque Music

The 2025 edition of the Fanny Mendelssohn Festival confirmed the formula that has made the event famous in the province of Pisa, Tuscany: high-level concerts in historical settings, featuring Italian and international performers with a special focus on repertoires by female composers. The events, distributed between Pisa and the surrounding municipalities, offered the public the opportunity to combine listening to great music with discovering local architectural and artistic heritage, laying the groundwork for the project dedicated to Cascina's Romanesque churches developed in the following edition.
