Fane Fest (Fane Alm Fest)

Fane Fest 2025

Fane Fest 2025 was held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Malga Fane, the alpine village at 1,739 meters above Valles, a hamlet of Rio di Pusteria (Bolzano). The festival opened at 10:30 AM with the traditional open-air mass celebrated among the huts.

Following this, the mountain huts offered specialties of South Tyrolean mountain cuisine: canederli, Kasnocken (cheese dumplings), Schlutzkrapfen (spinach ravioli), Schmarren, and numerous varieties of strudel. The day was enlivened by accordion players and folk groups from the valley, with Schuhplattler dances, in an authentic and convivial atmosphere in the most beautiful alpine village in South Tyrol.
