Fanano Saxophone Week

The tenth edition of the Fanano Saxophone Week, from July 20 to 25, 2025, celebrated ten years of music, passion, and talent in Fanano. Organized by Giovanni Contri, Fabrizio Benevelli, and Marco Ferri of the Quartetto Saxofollia, the week featured free evening concerts at 9:15 PM. The series opened on Sunday, July 20, with the Quartetto Saxofollia; guests included Russian virtuoso Mikhail Kazakov with pianist Susanna Pagano, the recital The Art of the Saxophone: Masters in Concert, the MP Organ-Ized Trio exploring jazz and experimentation, the winners of the first Fanano Saxophone International Competition with Marianna Tongiorgi on piano, and closing with Parisian jazz star Baptiste Herbin.
