Edition 2025 — Autumn Fallow Deer Festival

In September 2025, the autumn edition of the Fallow Deer Festival was held in Pelago, organized by the La Banduccia team at the G. La Pira Pastoral Center. As per tradition, the festival offered a fixed menu based on fallow deer meat, with dinner on Saturday and lunch on Sunday, in a convivial atmosphere highly appreciated by residents and visitors of the Florentine Valdarno.

The 2025 autumn edition of the Fallow Deer Festival in Pelago confirmed the success of an event now well-established in the local calendar. At the G. La Pira Pastoral Center, the La Banduccia team served the great classics of deer-based cuisine: penne with ragù, peposo, and oven-roasted leg of deer, accompanied by side dishes, dessert, and vin santo. The Saturday dinner and Sunday lunch attracted numerous diners, confirming the deep bond between the village and this gastronomic tradition.
