Edition 2025 — Falcone and Borsellino Festival

In 2025, the Falcone and Borsellino Amateur Theater Festival returned to Capaci on the anniversary of the tragedy, confirming its status as a well-established event. The I Teatranti Instabili company reprised the formula that combines a competition between Sicilian amateur troupes, moments of reflection on legality, and musical performances, all within the setting of the Alcide De Gasperi school. A free evening of theater and civic memory, designed to involve the local public and especially the younger generation.

The 2025 edition

The Falcone and Borsellino Amateur Theater Festival continued in 2025 the path initiated by the I Teatranti Instabili company in Capaci, in the province of Palermo. As in previous years, the event took place around May 23, the date of the anniversary of the tragedy, featuring a competition between amateur theater companies evaluated by a quality jury.

The evening confirmed its usual structure: competing performances, exhibitions by the young members of I Teatranti Instabili Junior, and moments dedicated to legality and the memory of judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino. Admission, as per tradition, was free, reaffirming the popular and civic vocation of the event.
