Edition 2025 — FAI Tours of San Nazzaro Sesia Abbey
The abbey open in 2025
Throughout 2025, the Benedictine Abbey of Santi Nazario e Celso in San Nazzaro Sesia, in the province of Novara, continued to welcome visitors and enthusiasts of medieval art and history. The openings allowed visitors to admire the famous 15th-century cloister with its cycle of frescoes dedicated to the life of Saint Benedict, the Lombard-Gothic style church, and the imposing Romanesque bell tower, a testament to the original layout founded in 1040.
Cultural initiatives and guided tours highlighted a heritage that combines architecture, painting, and spirituality in the heart of the Bassa Novarese region.
