FAI Autumn Days 2025 at Avio Castle
On the weekend of October 11 and 12, 2025, Avio Castle in Sabbionara (Municipality of Avio, Trentino) joined the FAI Autumn Days, opening to the public from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (last entry at 5:00 PM).
The program featured special guided tours with the director dedicated to the history of the Castelbarco fortress, the donation to FAI, and the management of the site, as well as meetings with the beekeeper at the castle's apiary regarding the role of bees in the foundation's properties. For families, the traditional treasure hunt for children was organized, while in the afternoon, there were tastings of FAI products accompanied by wines from the Cantina Sociale di Avio. Visitors were able to admire the frescoes of the Chamber of Love and the House of the Guards in an autumnal atmosphere amidst the vineyards of the Vallagarina.
