Faggiano Festa de l'Unità

The 54th edition of the Faggiano Festa de l'Unità was held from August 19 to 23, 2025, in Piazza Aldo Moro, the heart of the town in the province of Taranto. Promoted by the local branch of the Democratic Party, the event offered its traditional blend of politics, music, and Apulian cuisine for five evenings.

The highlight of the edition was the final evening, which featured Member of Parliament Ubaldo Pagano and the President of the Province of Taranto Gianfranco Palmisano on stage, protagonists of a debate dedicated to the ex-Ilva situation and the program agreement, a highly topical issue for the Ionian territory. Alongside the political appointments, there was no shortage of live music and the food area with typical Apulian dishes, which drew families and visitors to the square until late at night.
