ExtraOrdinario (Live) Festival 2025

The 2025 edition consolidated the Roman presence of the festival conceived and directed by Compagnia Controtempo. The festival maintained its original vocation: bringing live performance outside traditional circuits, into the villages, parks, and neighbourhood theatres of Rome, in Lazio.

In this edition too, the programme intertwined different languages — theatre, contemporary circus, dance, concerts, stand-up comedy — with a section of workshops open to the public, many of which were free and designed to be accessible to people with disabilities. The core themes remained social and cultural diversity, disability, women's empowerment, and eco-sustainability.

In July 2025, the ExtraOrdinario project was admitted to the rankings of Roma Capitale's cultural calls, a recognition that guaranteed its continuation in the 2025-2026 cycle.
