Extemporamnia — International Extemporaneous Painting Festival

Extemporamnia 2025 — MUSIKEXTE

The sixth edition of the Extemporamnia International Painting Festival took place in Teramo on June 21 and 22, 2025, on the occasion of the Fête de la Musique on June 21. For this edition, renamed MUSIKEXTE, the chosen theme was "Painting Music": artists explored the relationship between visual arts and the world of music.

The festival was divided into the Extemporaneous (en plein air works created on-site) and Contemporary (studio works submitted digitally) sections, involving hundreds of painters from all over Italy. Among the awarded works in the studio section were "The Rock Band" by Guerrino Tentarelli, "Vibration" by Feneck Rouhani, and "Jazz Concert" by Cesare Canali.

The jury, chaired by international exhibition curator Giuseppe Bacci, declared the winners of an edition that confirmed Extemporamnia as one of the premier cultural events of the summer in Teramo and Abruzzo.
