Edition 2025 — Evviva Carnevale

In 2025, Evviva Carnevale featured the theme "Around the World in 80 Days," with a program spread from February 23 to March 4 across Marino center, Castelluccia, Santa Maria delle Mole, and Cava dei Selci. Parades of floats, masked processions with local schools, a brass band concert, and a Carnival circus accompanied the festivities, which concluded on March 4 in Piazza San Barnaba with the burning of the Strega Carnevalina.

Evviva Carnevale 2025: Around the World in 80 Days

The 2025 edition of the Carnival of Marino, in the Lazio region, took place from February 23 to March 4 with a theme clearly inspired by Jules Verne: Around the World in 80 Days. The program involved the entire municipal territory, following the now-established formula of a widespread festival.

On March 1, Castelluccia hosted "Maschere in festa" in Piazza Chinea, with entertainment and a masked parade. March 2 was the turn of Santa Maria delle Mole: a parade of floats accompanied by a brass band concert, entertainment with schools, and, at 5:30 PM, the evocative "magical flight of Phileas Fogg" from the parish bell tower. On March 4, the party moved to Cava dei Selci with floats and a fanfare, before concluding in Marino center with the masked parade, the Carnival Circus, the "Gira la carta" (Turn the card) event with fortune tellers, and finally, at 5:30 PM, the burning of the Strega Carnevalina in Piazza San Barnaba.

Among the protagonists, as always, were the comprehensive institutes of Marino Centro, Santa Lucia, and the Maestre Pie Venerini, who starred in the Carnival Show.
