Edition 2025 — Evò ce Esù Visioni

From September 19 to 21, 2025, Parco Palmieri in Martignano hosted the eleventh edition of Evò ce Esù Visioni, themed "Border encounters between faces and dialects." Three free evenings of screenings in Grico, Sardinian, Kurdish, Talysh, Cornish, and other minority languages, many awarded at the Babel Film Festival, along with talks, exhibitions, and the final concert by the Brancaleone project.

Eleventh edition, September 19-21, 2025

The 11th edition of Evò ce Esù Visioni took place from September 19 to 21, 2025, at the Parco Turistico Culturale Palmieri in Martignano, with activities starting in the afternoon and evening screenings. The central theme, "Border encounters between faces and dialects," guided a selection of films in minority languages from all over the world.

Among the screened titles were several award-winners from the Babel Film Festival in Cagliari: When the Walnut Leaves Turn Yellow (in Kirdki-Zazaki), the documentary Dartaș in Kurdish, the Iranian short film Azheh in the Talysh language, and Megacicli by Davide Barletti, dedicated to transhumance, in its first screening in Puglia. The screenings were accompanied by Evò ce Esù Talk sessions, dedicated to cultural networks and linguistic policies, and the Evò ce Esù Arte section with two exhibitions. The festival closed on September 21 with the "Gradisca" concert by the Brancaleone project and live painting by Egidio Marullo. Free admission to all evenings.
