European Week of Parks 2025
The 2025 edition celebrated European Day of Parks with a rich program in the protected areas managed by the RomaNatura Regional Authority in Rome. The highlight took place on May 24th, from 10 AM to 8 PM, at the Pineto Urban Park: guided hikes with park rangers, sports activities and climbing practice, games and nature workshops for children, orienteering, and stands from the protected natural areas of the Lazio Region.
In other reserves, there was no shortage of citizen science initiatives and environmental cleanup events with volunteers, confirming the participatory nature of the event in the Municipality of Rome and the Lazio region.
