Edition 2025 — European Archaeology Days at the Ipogei

In 2025, the Archaeological Park of the Ipogei in Trinitapoli joined the European Archaeology Days, scheduled across Europe from June 13 to 15. On that occasion, the Bronze Age site welcomed visitors with dedicated openings and guided tours of the evocative hypogeum path, confirming the event as one of the best times of the year to discover the necropolis and its treasures.

2025 Edition

The 2025 European Archaeology Days were held throughout Europe from June 13 to 15. The Archaeological Park of the Ipogei in Trinitapoli, in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, participated in the initiative by opening its underground path to the public and offering guided tours of the prehistoric complex.

Visitors were able to descend into the chambers carved into the rock of the Ipogeo dei Bronzi and the Ipogeo degli Avori, rediscovering the funerary and propitiatory rites celebrated over three thousand years ago in one of the most significant sites of Italian prehistory. The 2025 edition confirmed the park's role as a place for the dissemination and promotion of Puglia's archaeological heritage.
