Edition 2025 — Archaeology Days at Castelseprio
In 2025, the Archaeological Park of Castelseprio also participated in the European Archaeology Days with a weekend of free openings, guided tours of the excavations, and activities for the public. An opportunity to rediscover the vanished village and the frescoes of Santa Maria Foris Portas, in the heart of the Lombard UNESCO site in the province of Varese.
The 2025 edition of the European Archaeology Days confirmed the participation of the Castelseprio Park in this European-level event.
The weekend featured free openings, guided tours led by archaeologists, and activities dedicated to the discovery of the Lombard castrum and the frescoes of Santa Maria Foris Portas, part of the UNESCO heritage of the province of Varese.
